Codeplace Cloud 26.7.0

TL;DRA universal cloud drawer brings environment health, opencode updates, and a unified release timeline into the editor.

The new cloud drawer keeps environment controls and release notes inside the opencode workspace.

Universal cloud drawer

Codeplace now adds a slim, full-width status bar above the opencode titlebar. It works across the legacy and current layouts without taking space away from tabs or covering editor controls.

Pull it down—or use the desktop chevron—to see live CPU, memory, and disk pressure. The drawer can be resized from a compact status view to a larger detail view while the editor adjusts beneath it.

VM version and updates

The metrics view shows the opencode version running in your sandbox and its current uptime.

When Codeplace has a newer sandbox image available, an update action appears beside the version. Updating recreates the VM on the new image while preserving the persistent home directory, projects, sessions, and configuration.

Release notes inside the workspace

The Release notes tab keeps the Codeplace Cloud timeline inside the editor, so platform, infrastructure, and bundled opencode updates are available without leaving the workspace.

Public Codeplace changelog

Codeplace Cloud releases now have permanent, shareable pages at /changelog, with machine-readable JSON representations for the full feed and each version.

Release notes are authored as Markdown and grouped by Codeplace Cloud version rather than by individual deployment or changeset.

opencode
